Satellite image

Observation images of the surface of the Earth taken by a camera on board a satellite. SPOT (Système pour l'Observation de la Terre) is a French Earth observation system on board a satellite which takes optical images (visible domain) with a field of view of 2.5 m, i.e. an image point or pixel has a side of 2.5 m (resolution of 2.5 m).
