M3

The M3 (forMoon Mineralogy Mapper) was an instrument developed by NASA, that was included in the Chandrayaan-1 lunar orbiter. It was a spectrometer to carry out high resolution spatial and spectral mapping of the Moon's surface, and to determine its mineral composition. It was also used to prepare the ground for future resource search missions.
