Leonids

The Leonids are a trail of rocky debris that follows the passage of the Tempel-Tuttle comet close to the Earth, usually in late November. The Leonids are visible in the form of a shooting star shower in the earth's sky. The radiant of the Leonids is in the constellation of Leo, hence their name.
