Greenwich meridian

The Earth's meridian passing through Greenwich observatory. The Greenwich meridian has now been replaced by the IERS Reference Meridian (IRM), also called the International Reference Meridian, the prime meridian (0° longitude) maintained by the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS). It is 5.31 (102.5 metres) arcseconds east of the Greenwich meridian.
