GNSS

Global navigation satellite system: determination of the position and speed of a point on the surface of, or near the Earth, by processing radio signals received at that point from several artificial satellites.

GNSS also denotes a navigation and positioning system in which several world coverage systems are associated, including the GPS system (American), the Glonass system (Russian) and the Galileo system (European), to meet the requirements of terrestrial, maritime and aeronautical users
