Eros
Eros is an asteroid 33 km long and 13 km wide. Its mass is estimated to be 6.7 million billion tonnes and its density 2.7 g/cm3. It rotates in 5 hours 16 minutes.
Eros was the scientific target of the NEAR-Shoemaker mission. The NEAR probe arrived close to Eros on 12 February 2000 and put itself in orbit around it.
