EADS

EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space company) is a European industrial group, leader in aeronautics and space in Europe.

EADS was founded on 10 July 2000 by the merger of the German Daimler Chrysler Aerospace AG, the French Aérospatiale Matra and the Spanish CASA.

EADS is composed of five divisions:

• Aeronautics
• Airbus
• Defence and security
• Military transport aircraft
• Space
