Constellation

A random pattern of stars in the night sky produced by alignments of stars of different luminosities, and at different distances. There are 88 constellations - 48 were known to the ancient Greeks, and the other 40 were added after 1600.

A set of small satellites placed at a few hundred kilometres altitude.

The Constellation was also an American four-engine transport plane built by Lockheed between 1943 and 1958.
