Aura

Aura is an Earth observation mission designed to study the ozone layer and to find out whether it is recovering its former level, to determine if the quality of the air we breathe is deteriorating, and finally to understand how the planet's climate is changing.

This NASA scientific satellite was launched from the Vandenberg air base (California) on 15/07/2004 at 10h02 UT by a Delta II rocket.
