Syngas

Syngas is a synthetic gas produced by thermochemistry. This gas is composed of dihydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO) and gaseous hydrocarbons.

Produced from carbonaceous materials (biomass, coal, oil), syngas can be used directly as a gaseous fuel or can be transformed into a liquid fuel.
