Carbon footprint

The carbon footprint method tallies up the greenhouse gas released directly or indirectly by an activity or a site. This method, developed by ADEME, is based exclusively on easily accessible information.

It is the first step in creating a climate analysis for an activity or a site. By creating a hierarchy of emissions producing items based on volume, this method facilitates the implementation of priority actions to reduce these emissions.
