Intensity

Magnetic field intensity H: the strength of a magnetic field (in ampere-turns per metre (A/m) in SI units, and in oersteds (Oe) in cgs units). (Not to be confused with Magnetic field B, measured in teslas in SI units and in gauss in cgs units).

Luminous intensity: the luminous flux (candelas).

Intensity in physics is a measure of the energy flux averaged over one period of a wave. Example: sound intensity: the strength of sound in watts per unit area. The sound intensity level is the sound intensity in comparison with a reference level, and is measured in decibels.

Radiant intensity is a measure of the intensity of electromagnetic radiation. The SI unit is watts per steradian.
