Homo habilis

Homo habilis is an East African fossil hominid species (2.5 to 2 million years ago). It was between 1.15 and 1.30 m high and weighed between 30 and 40 kg. It mastered the use of cut stone. Homo habilis had a developed cranial capacity, from 550 to 680 cm³.
