Vegetarian

A vegetarian diet involves not taking any form of animal flesh (poultry, beef, fish, lamb and goat) except for eggs and dairy products (cheese, butter, other dairy products).

This type of diet can cause deficiencies, particularly iron deficiency.

There are also the following vegetarian diets:

• vegetarian ;
• lactovegetarian ;
• ovovegetarian.
