Vasectomy

The purpose of vasectomy is to block the expulsion of spermatozoa by cutting or tying the vasa deferens. It is usually performed under local anaesthetic. Note that this method is only effective 2 to 3 months after the procedure and an additional method of contraception must be used during this period.
