Varroa

This parasitic disease is due to the growth of larvae of the Hypoderma bovis and Hypoderma lineatum flies, which specifically infest cattle.
Varroa can be found in France from the end of March to the end of July and arrive in the animals' backs in successive waves.
Both species can accidentally infest horses and human beings. The life cycle of these parasites is never closed in these hosts. Other species of Hypoderma to sheep, goats, and wrens are found the northern hemisphere specific.
