PSA

PSA is the English abbreviation for "Prostate Specific Antigen", a prostate cell protein, whose role is to make the sperm sufficiently fluid. Increase in PSA levels in the blood reflects an abnormality of the prostate which may be benign or malignant. Clinically, PSA is therefore used as a tumour marker.
