Haemorrhoids

Haemorrhoids are like varicose veins and are a dilatation of the veins of mucosal membranes A flare-up of haemorrhoids is an inflammation of the types of vein cushions which line the internal wall of the anal canal.

Haemorrhoids are of variable size. There are two types of them:

• Internal haemorrhoids;
• external haemorrhoids.
