Crohn's disease

Crohn's Disease was described by Doctor Burrill Bernard Crohn in 1932, and is suspected of being auto-immune and multifactorial in origin. The disease usually develops in young adults. It causes chronic inflammation of the digestive tract leading to persistent diarrhoea and abdominal pain.
