Cachexia is a state involving weakness and malnutrition. Callus
The term "cal" has two meanings: a callus is a hardened part of the surface of the skin generally caused by excessive rubbing or pressure at that particular place. The term can also mean a mass of soft bone tissue which forms at a fracture and which hardens as the bone knits back together.
