Bone marrow suppression.

Bone marrow suppression is the delay or blockade of the bone marrow functions by a chemotherapy treatment (side effect) or by the disease itself. Bone marrow suppression can cause infections, anaemia or coagulation problems because of its role as a factory for blood cells.
