Allopathy

Allopathy describes conventional medicine, as opposed to homoeopathy. Because of this it includes usual medical treatments and also so-called parallel treatments such as plant therapy or homeopathy.

Allopathy is therefore based on administering active substances designed to counteract the effects or causes of diseases.
