Magnetic permeability

Magnetic permeability is the ratio of the magnetic field B and the auxiliary magnetic field H. The unit is henries per metre.

In a magnetic body, B= μ H= μo * μr H, where μ is the permeability, μr the relative permeability, μo the permeability of a vacuum.
