Triple therapy

Triple therapy is a treatment protocol involving three antiviral agents to slow down the multiplication of the virus in the body. This mainly refers to treatments intended to fight AIDS.

Triple therapy in AIDS treatment involves, for example, combining one or two reverse transcriptase inhibitors with one or two protease inhibitors.
