VPLS

VPLS, Virtual Private LAN Service, is a metropolitan, national and international Ethernet service that extends the client's local network (LAN) to many sites by providing multipoint connectivity in Layer 2 with full mesh connectivity. Service providers use MPLS (Multi protocol Label Switching) to create a reliable, evolutive and operationally effective VPLS solution.

Business VPLS uses Ethernet to provide a simple and economic multipoint service with service quality agreements for the various types of traffic.
