TCP/IP

Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol TCP/IP is a protocol used on the internet to send data between two machines. TCP is a transmission protocol to handle the opening and managing of the link between two computers. IP is an addressing protocol to handle the routing of data packets. It is like a universal language allowing to machines to communicate with each other no matter what operating systems they are using.
