IP address

A series of 4 numbers, each between 0 and 255, uniquely identifying any computer or terminal connected to the internet. Each time the user connects, an IP address is assigned by the access provider. Your current IP address could, for example, be 192.168.4.60. A fixed IP address is when the access provider assigns the address to the subscriber permanently rather than renewing it at regular intervals.
