Invisible Web

The invisible Web is the part of the Web containing all the documents that are not indexed by standard search tools. A definition of the invisible Web is as follows: "Invisible Web resources include, among others, Web sites built around a database (searchable only by an internal search engine), pages accessible by a search formula, pages protected by a password, pages forbidden to indexing robots, pages written in proprietary formats, intranets and extranets."
