Tempo

In France, the Tempo option offers variable prices depending on the day and time the service is used. It is only available to individuals with at least a 9 kVA subscription. A Tempo year categorises days using 3 colour coded rates - blue, white and red, from least to most expensive - combined with off-peak and peak rates, for a total of 6 rates.

3 colours spread throughout the year

• 22 red days from 1st November to 31st March, Monday through Friday (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are never red and no more than 5 consecutive red days are allowed).
• 43 white days spread throughout the year, but never on Sundays,
• 300 blue days throughout the rest of the year (all Sundays are blue).

A Tempo day lasts from 6:00 am until 6:00 am the next morning. Whatever the colour of the day, you will be charged off-peak rates from 10:00 pm until 6:00 am.
