Tax credit

A tax credit is a fiscal provision allowing households to benefit from a reduction of their income tax if they incur expenses for certain energy improvement works on their main residence, as long as the equipment is provided by the same company that performs the works (In France). Each taxpayer is eligible for tax credits, whether or not they are taxable.
