Flexography

Flexography is a relief printing process (similar to typography) using rotary presses. Plates or images are produced on a photopolymer base. Since 1992 they have been used with inks that dry under UV lamps. UV inks are more resistant to heat and physical or chemical abrasion than traditional inks. They are also characterised by a high colour density and a very good gloss.
