Dry contact

A dry contact is a type of switch that opens or closes controlled by the electricity distributor depending on the time period: peak or off-peak, for example.

On electronic meters it is identified by four terminals that operate in pairs. Marked C1/C2 and C3/C4, they are not sealed and can therefore be connected to a day/night switch.
