ACERMI

ACERMI Certification (Association for Certification of Insulating Materials) helps you choose a product depending on its construction applications. Complementing the CE mark, which has been mandatory since March 2003, it integrates all of the stated characteristics : at least strength and thermal conductivity, mechanical performance and, depending on the material, fire resistance.

Certified products are identified by a label placed on their packaging. Manufacturer documentation is required to provide and explain this information, in order to provide the user with all of the information needed to select the product that best fits their needs. Often, "ecological " insulating materials fall short on this aspect...
