NASA World Wind

The NASA World Wind is an Open Source application available from NASA since 2005 with which you can view the Earth in 3D (like Google Earth but with lower resolution), but also the Moon, Mars, Venus and Jupiter.

Since its inauguration, the World Wind application (click here to go to the download page) has been downloaded more than 10 million times. NASA regularly provides updates of World Wind for users to virtually explore more and more planets.
