MVNO

Mobile Virtual Network Operator - a mobile telephone operator which does not have their own frequency spectrum or more generally a telecommunications infrastructure. They simply buy telephone minutes from traditional operators and then sell them on to their customers.

Example: In the UK, Virgin and Tesco are MVNOs using T-Mobile, O2 and Vodaphone.
