Fish-eye

A fish-eye lens is a very short-focus objective for very wide angles, close to 180°. It is used on reflex cameras.

The images produced are distorted. Apart from the very pronounced perspective, straight lines that do not pass through the centre of the image are curved. The image can be corrected by projecting it onto a spherical screen.
