DVB is the abbreviation for Digital Video Broadcasting. This technology includes an extra letter to define the type of transmission: C (DVB-C cable), T (DVB-T terrestrial), S (DVB-S satellite), H (DVB-handled) and SH (DVB-SH: satellite services for mobile devices). DVB is a digital video broadcasting system.
