GTP

GTP is guanosine-5'-triphosphate. Guanosine-5'-triphosphate is a nucleotide belonging to the purine family, which is used to store and transport energy. It is formed from guanine, ribose and three phosphate groups bound to each other by two high-energy pyrophosphate bonds.
