Clone

Cloning is a laboratory reproduction technique from genes, cells or organisms from the same cell. The clone obtained from this process has the same genetic pedigree as its original model.

Group of cells or individuals obtained from the same ancestral unit by simple vegetative multiplication. The members of a clone (excluding mutations) are genetically identical in principle.
