Windows Vista

Microsoft Windows Vista (Microsoft Windows NT 6.0) is a version of the Microsoft Windows operating system that succeeded to Windows XP. During its development, this version went by the name of Windows Longhorn, until the official unveiling on 22 July 2005.

Vista was marketed for professionals (solely for holders of a specific licence) on Thursday 30 November 2006 on the Microsoft download platform, and on 30 January 2007 for the general public with the first boxed versions.

Vista came in three versions: Premium, Professional and Integral, together with the Basic version for lower-performance machines.
