Netburst

Netburst is an architecture developed by Intel for its Pentium 4 and D processors for operating at very high frequencies up to 4 GHz. However, the technological constraints of this architecture prevented this value from being reached. Intel abandoned it in 2005 and then partially re-used it in the Core 2 Duo.
