Micro-computer

A micro-computer is a small computer with a central processing unit consisting of one or more microprocessors.

The computer, which by definition is an information system, was initially an instrument for making purely scientific calculations (1945). At the end of the sixties it became a business managment tool. With the arrival of the PC or personal computer in the eighties the microcomputer came into being: an individual computer running independently thanks to its microprocessor, hard disk and internal memory.
