Hybrid hard drive

A hybrid hard drive is a hard drive that has both disks and flash memory. It is especially used in laptop PCs. Hybrid hard drives have better autonomy and shorter booting times. The first hybrid hard drives appeared in 2007, at the same time as Windows Vista.
