DVD audio

DVD audio is the format created to replace the CD. In addition to its high quality stereo or multichannel sound, it can also hold images or audio-visual information viewable on a screen. The sound quality is better than on a CD, a Dolby Digital or DTS encoded video DVD. To play it, you must have a DVD audio-compatible player and a screen to access the various menus on the disk.
