NMR

NMR is the acronym for nuclear magnetic resonance. The principle is based on the properties acquired by certain atomic nuclei when placed in an intense magnetic field. They can then react with radio waves and emit signals. These signals (spectra or images) can be used to identify the structure of the various constituents of a tissue.
