Nanofluidics

Nanofluidics is one of the applications of nanotechnology (nanotechnology of which the applications are many and surprising).

It consists in manipulating fluids on chips containing nanometric channels. Given the size of the channels, close to molecular scale, the molecules are subjected to different physical constraints from those found in larger spaces.

Nanofluidics is used in chemistry to reproducibly synthesise compounds.
