Ombrophile

Ombrophile organisms are organisms that live in very cool environments where conditions are favourable to frequent rain, fog and mist.

These environments, also called ombrophile, are generally located on ocean coasts (ocean climate) and near mountains that trap clouds thus encouraging precipitation.
