Nectar

Nectar is a substance of plant origin produced near the inflorescence. The non-fertilised flower excretes this substance, which attracts pollinating insects. Its transport does not ensure pollination, but rather the transfer of pollen from one flower to another ensures its pollination, fertilisation and therefore its fructification.
