Ribonucleoside monophosphate

Ribonucleoside monophosphate is a monophosphate nucleoside formed by a purine or pyrimidine binding to a ribose and a phosphate group. The major nucleoside monophosphates are AMP and GMP (purine nucleotides), and CMP and UMP (pyrimidine nucleotides). These are the monomers that make up RNA.
