Isomerism

Isomerism is a medical term meaning a lateralisation abnormality in the body causing pathological symmetry.

For example, atrial isomerism is a lateralisation defect of the atrial of heart, pulmonary isomerism if the presence of two identical lungs (normally one lung has two lobes and the other has three).
